AEOP Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order at 4:15 PM by Debbie Hann, second Molly Duell
So far the beginning of the school year has gone better than expected.

Current contract ends June 30, 2021. Shelly, our LRS from NYSUT, attended the meeting and brought up the possibility of rolling over the current contract. There would not be any changes to the current contract. A survey will go to the unit after the holidays to get everyone’s feelings on things of importance. Then the negotiating team will prioritize those and then begin to meet with the district. Our goal is to negotiate a fair and equitable contract.
Charitable Donations
We will put out a request for food donations for the Backpack program through the WTA. We would like to forge a working relationship with the teacher’s union. If you are able to donate items, email Susan or Pam and they will pick up items. We will do this closer to the holidays.
